In the framework of the 2012 KORANET Joint Call on Green Technologies 11 projects from the thematic sub-topics namely reduction of carbon footprint, technologies for a sustainable development, and renewable energies and energy efficiency have been selected for funding
Background information:
Based on the positive experience of the Pilot Joint Call, KORANET launched its second Joint Call in February 2012. This time, the KORANET Joint Call targeted researchers from seven European countries and Korea active in the field of Green Technologies. In order to foster green growth and emphasize sustainable development, the proposals had to deal with one of the following sub-topics:
Each project consortium had to consist of at least 3 partners, one Korean partner and two European partners from two different European countries participating in the KORANET Joint Call (Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey).
The KORANET Joint Call funds mobility, networking and small-scale research (travel and accommodation costs, costs for organising small events, small-scale research equipment, small-scale personnel costs) for a maximum duration of 2 years. The level of funding may be up to 25.000 € per partner per year.
The KORANET Joint Call was open for the submission of proposals from 6 February to 11 April 2012.
